Shey Phoksundo National Park

Shey phoksundo national park is Nepal’s largest national park covering 3555 sq. km situated in the Dolpa, and Mugu district of West Side in Tibetan border. It was created which includes the forests and high altitude desert typical of the Tibetan plateau and also includes the Khanjiroba Himal, with many peaks of over 6000m. as well as the famous Shey Monastery, the Phoksundo Lake and the Langu Gora.

The park include the Tibetan hare, Himalayan weasel, beautiful snow leopard, blue sheep, gharel, musk deer, wild dog marmet etc among the fauna and the flora of this area include pine, walnut, willo, oak, sprnce, juniper and birch. The alopine areas are vegetated by berberries, wild rose and caragona. Among the bird species the park include the impeyan and cheer pheasant, chough, raven, Tibetan snow cock, Tibetan twite, dipper, Himalayan grifton and lammergeyer

Khaptad National Park
The name itself represent a holy place of Khaptad Baba, a reserved Hindu saint which is in the middle hills of the far-west of Nepal, covering 225 sq. km area situated in the corner of tour district Bajhang, Bajura, Doti and Achham. Lying at around 3000 m. altitude it is a plateau of grassland and oak and coniferous forests which is the common vegetation covered much of middle hills of Nepal. The forest also includes tall fir, yew, rhododendron, bamboo and smaller shrubs. With this forest it is maintaining the ecosystem of mid-mountain in the help of Bear, Leopard, Barking and Musk Deer as well as the birds like lypeyar, Koklas, Kalij Pheasants.
Parsha Wildlife Reserve
The wildlife reserve is establish in 1984 with some area of Chitwan, Makwanpur, Parsha, and Bara district in the center of Nepal only the subtropical forest consisting of 90% of Sal tree construct the reserve in the Churiya hills, Khair, Sissoo are also very common. The reserve supports a good population of resident wild elephant tiger, leopard, sloth bear, Gaur, Blue Bull, wild Dog, Sambhar, Chital, and Languor etc. About 300 species of birds like Giant Hombill, peafowl, Red Jungle fowl, Fly catchers, woodpeckers, etc are found and many kinds of snakes like king cobra, trait, rattle snake and pythons are also found in this reserve
