Makalu-Barun National Park & Conservation Area
SUKLA PHAT WILDLIFE RESERVE

The PHANT it self meaning grassland so this reserve reserving 305 sq. km. of grassland with Sal forest in the far south western corner of the Nepal. It is just like Chitwan and Bardia N.P. with riverine flood plain. The reserve is one of the last remaining the hispid have and the pygmy hog and also the stronghold for the endangered animal like the swamp deer (Barasinga). A small number of tiger (around 30) and wild elephant are also sight sometimes.Herons, ducks, storks, kingfishers are common bird found in this reserve.
Makalu Barun National Park & Conservation area
Consisting of all tropical, subtropical, subtropical, sub-alpine and alpine climate Makalu Barun National Park & Conservation area is situated in the Sankhuwasabha and Solukhumbu districts, bordered by the Arun River in the east, Mt. Everest National Park on the west, the Tibet border on the North and Sauna Panda (Ridge) to the south. Distinctive variety of flora and fauna are very rich with in the 2330 sq. kms. area of the park. Tropical sal forest, subtropical schema-costanopos forest and alpine herbs, shrubs, grasses area really great combination.
The park includes 47 varieties of orchids, 67species of bamboos, 15 oaks, 86 species of fodder treks and 48 species of primrose. 400 species of birds have been sighted and 84 varieties of fish in the Asian river system, Gharal, Thar, Wild Boar and serow are common animal while Red Panda, Musk Deer, Himalayan Black Beer, and snow Leopard are endangered animal are sight in this park.
ANNAPURNA CONSERVTION AREA
One of the most popular trekking routes covering a largest area of 2600 sq. km Annaprrna Conservation Area, on the north of Pokhara and extending to the Tibetan border consist some o the world's highest peak and deepest river valleys. The famous Annapurna (8091m) Peaks and Kali Gandaki gorge which is considered the deepest in the world, makes it’s a paradise of a nature. This conservation area was launched in 1986 with intend of improving local living standards. Protecting the environment and educating the people who are involved in tourism business i.e. at least not any harm in this region.
The rare snow leopards and blue sheep are found here and multi-colored lmpeyan, kokos , blood pheasants, among the birds many butterflies and insects are also very common and about 100 varieties of Orchids and the some of the richest temperate rhododendron, forests in the world. The park consist with many native plants, many ethnic groups of people really find you more co-operative
