Ngim Chhamji climbed Everest successfully, with new record...
The young Smart lady Ngim Chhamji Sherpa ( DOB 14th Nov 1995 ), who had been to Mt. Everest Expedition on 8th April with the aim of becoming the youngest Everest climber , has successfully climbed Everest. On May 19th Saturday afternoon at 12:13 she was At the top of the world and has returned to Base camp yesterday.She was in High Adventure Expedition Everest 2012. After her successful ascent to Everest, she has built a new history on Mt. Everest becoming young Everest female climber. She has presented herself as a brave and heroic lady and has became the source of inspiration, which is not only her success and pleasure but also the success as well as pride of the Nation.
Her father Dendi Sherpa ( 3 times Everest summiteer) and other Nepalese Ganesh Thakuri, Pem Lakpa Sherpa, Wangchhu Sherpa, Temba vote, Dawa dendi Sherpa ( two times Everest summiteer) has also reached to the top. A renowned Swiss alpinist Ueli Steck was also with same group and he had summated the top without oxygen one day earlier on 18th May likewise Tenji Sherpa another young Nepalese also reached at top without oxygen. Ueli steck said : “ It's not easy to summit without oxygen, Tenji is very strong and he also did it without oxygen. I am very happy with him.”
Ueli Steck has returned to Swiss yesterday evening and Ngim Chhamji and some other will come to Kathmandu from Lukla on Friday morning.
