Trishuli River Rafting


The Trishuli River is the most easily accessible from Kathmandu, Pokhara and Royal Chitwan National Park by far a trip on this river can be made for a varied duration, depending upon the availability of time and interest. Scenic valleys and impressive gorges, exhilarating rapids and easier sections as well as the right amount of time all make it the perfect trip for first-time or experienced rafters.

There are numerous exciting rapids as the name of Snail's nose, Teendevi, Malekhu rapid, Monkey rapid, Upset, Surprise, Monsoon, Cotton Pony, Ladies Delight, S-Bend, Highway, Monsoon and Pinball Rapid. This makes your fun more challenging during high flows with a good mixture of continuous rapids and pleasant calm water.

Kuringhat, a small and picturesque village is an ending spot from where you can drive to Kathmandu or Royal Chitwan National Park or Pokhara to continue your adventure in the Himalayas.

Itinerary


01. It takes about 3-4 hrs to the raft put-in point at Charaundi by driving from Kathmandu. Under the guidance of a river guide, you venture into a river trip up to Kurintar for about 4 hrs with a short lunch break. Eventually, you camp near the river bank at a wonderful location.

02. On this day, you start again your rafting trip along Trishuli River till you arrive at Similar. You make camping arrangement for night stay.

03. You continue your last day's river trip. After having rafted for about 3-4 hrs, you reach the ending point of the trip. At this point, you have a choice to either return to Kathmandu, Royal Chitwan National park or Pokhara.
