Pumori 7,161 m Expedition


Mt. Pumori is one of the mountain in Mahalanghur section of Himalaya, which is on the border of Nepal-Tibet at the 7,161 m above sea level . It has first climbed in 1962, it is situated to the opposite of Mt. Everest in Khumbu region it very peaked mountain it is one of the most techinical mountain having steep surface and a bit challenging for expedition.The easiest climbing route is graded class 3 . There is high rate of risk of avalanches. The first expedition group of this mountain is German Swiss team they had climbed this mountain in year 1962.Pumori expedition base camp is just below the Kallapathar near the small lake at 5300 m. form four hours of walking we will reach at camp1 at 5700 m. At the distance of 480 m there is camp II (6200 m) on a narrow ridge and form there at the 450 m. a head we will be at the height of 6480 m which is Camp Iii And then Passing through the crevasses and climbing on cliff the team will touch the summit .

Day 03: Walk to Namche Bazaar (3440 m) 5-6 hrs
Day 04: Acclimatization at Namche (3440 m) 00 hrs
Day 05: Walk to Tengboche (3860 m) 5-6 hrs
Day 06: Walk to Dingboche (4360 m) 5-6 hrs
Day 07: Acclimatization day at Dingboche (4360 m) 00hrs
Day 08: Walk to Lobuche (5018 m) 5-6 hrs
Day 09: Walk to Gorakhshep (5170 m) 3 hrs
Day 10: Arrive Base Camp (5250 ) 2.5 hrs
