Manaslu Expedition 8,163 m
The eight Highest mountain in the world Mt. Manaslu having height of 8163 m / 26,759 ft. is located in Mansiri himal in the west central part of Nepal, which is the highest peak of Lamjung district which is just fourty miles. The caravan route ( The route to base camp ) is Kathmandu -Gorkha Aarughat- Jagat- Sama Gaun and Base Camp. Mr. Toshio Imanishi of Japan first time measured this mountain on 09 May 1956 via North-East Face. The Japanese Expedition team was guided by Mr Gyalzen Norbu. The Long border of the mountain and the glacier valley makes feasible approaches from all direction. It is little different mountain because of it crevasses, Icy trail and also the probability of avalanches. The expedition group generally set four camps for the expedition. The crevasse in between Camp I and Camp II, risk of Avalanches between Camp III and Camp IV makes the expedition more adventurous . This Mountain Manaslu Expedition is also one of great Expedition and the No. of successfull summiteers on this mountain is more than 243.
Itinerary
Day 01 : Pick up from Airport and transfer to Hotel.
Day 02 : Kathmandu sightseeing
Day 03 : Attend Briefing at Tourism industry division and receive mountaineering permit
Day 04 : Drive Gorkha and trek to kalikathan.
Day 05 : Kalikathan to Khanchock (750m).
Day 06 : Khanchock Arukhet (800m).
Day0 7 : Arukhet to Khursane (930m).
Day 08 : Khursane to Filingee (1400m).
Day 09 : Filingee to Bhi (2200m).
Day 10 : Bihi to Lihi (2840m).
Day 11 : Lihi to Sama Goan (3390m).
Day 12 : Sama Goan rest for Acclimatization.
Day 13 : Sama Gaon to Base Camp (4200m).
Day 14 : Settle Manaslu base camp.
