Goshain Kunda Trek

This treks takes you to Langtang National park, which is rich in rare species of animals being the region where one hundred and sixty species of birds like cuckoos, owls, barbets, nightjars, black-capped sibias, yellow-billed magpies- just few of them and more than thirty species of mammals have been observed, including a very rare snow leopard, only a few dozen specimens of which survive in the entire Himalaya. This trekking route also offers you an opportunity to see sacred lakes of Gosainkund, which are holy places for Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims and said, were created by God Shiva.This rek provides great panoramic view of Ganesh himal, kyanjing Ri, Tsergo Ri , Holy Goshainkunda lake, kyanjing gompa of Langtang national Park.

Itinerary

Day 01 : Pick up from Airport and transfer to Hotel.
Day 02 : Kathmandu to drive to Syabrubensi (1550m).
Day 03 :Trek from Syabrubensi to Lama Hotel (2380m) (6:30 hours).
Day 04 : Lama Hotel to Lang tang village (3500m) (7 hours).
Day 05 : Langtang village to Kyangjin Gomba (3800m) (4 hours).
Day 06 : Kyangjn Ri (4773 m)climb back to kyanjing gompa.
Day 07 : Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel (7 hours).
Day 08 : Lama Hotel to Thulo syabru (1860m) (6:30 hours).
Day 09 : Thulo Syabru to Shingomba (3250m) (6 hours).
Day 10 : Shing Gompa to Gosainkunda Lake (4380m) (7 hours).
Day 11 : Gosainkunda to Ghopte (4100m) (8 hours).
Day 12 : Ghopte to Kutumshang (2470m) (7:30 hours).
Day 13 : Kutumsang to Chisapani (2170m) (6 hours).
Day 14 : Trek to Sundarijall (3 hrs) & Drive to Kathmandu (20 minuts)
Day 15 : Sightseeing or free day in Kathmandu.
Day 16 : Departure.
