Amadablam (6,812 m) Expedition


One of the world renowned and nice looking mountain Amadablam's height is 6,812 m / 22,349 ft. from the sea level and the lower eastern peak is 5563 meters /18251 ft. Literally Amadablam means "The power of mother ". It is located at probably the highest national park of the world "Sagarmatha National Park" in Solukhumbu region, which is only 12km far from the top of Mount Everest. In 13 March 1961 it was climbed by the combine group of 4 climbers from USA , UK and New zealand. They were there at the summit via South-west ridge. Which has now become the most popular climbing route. Between camp II and Camp III there is rocky part and the climbers should have technical knowledge of climbing , that's why people use to say it is technically difficult mountain. Climbers generally set three camps for getting to the summit. First camp is at the height of 5200 m , second camp is at the height of 6000 m and third camp is just below and right side of the hanging huge ice slab. Form there the expedition group step ahead to the summit. The summit of this mountain is incredible with gorgeous panoramic view of several highest mountain having more than 8000 meters elevation on around.The best season for the expedition to this mountain is April and May and also September and October. Expedition authorization and also a nominated liaison officer from the government of Nepal is required for the expedition of this mountain.

Day 02: Fly to Lukla ( 2840 m)& trek to Phakding ( 2610 m)
Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440 m)
Day 04: Acclimatization at Namche (3440 m)
Day 05: Trek to Tengboche (3860 m)
Day 06: Walk to Pangboche ( 3985 m)
Day 07: Amadablam base Camp ( 5100 m)
